How do I earn Shards?
Shards can be claimed daily from different locations throughout Sunset City.
What can I use Shards for?
Shards can be spent in the Shards Store on available items and rewards. Additional uses for Shards will be introduced as the Kabu ecosystem continues to develop.
What are Pins and Badges?
Pins and Badges are digital collectibles that recognise your achievements and activities throughout Sunset City. They can be earned by exploring locations, completing activities, and reaching milestones within the Kabu ecosystem.
What are Community Pins?
Community Pins are special collectibles representing different communities within the wider Web3 ecosystem. They allow members of other communities to participate in Kabu, showcase their affiliations, and collect unique Pins associated with their communities.
How do Ranks work?
Ranks represent your progression within the Kabu ecosystem. By earning Experience Points (XP) through activities and eligible NFT ownership, you progress through different ranking tiers.
What is XP and how do I earn it?
XP (Experience Points) is Kabu's progression system. XP is determined by the Pins and Badges you collect through NFT ownership, exploration, and participation in activities throughout Sunset City. Accumulating XP allows you to progress through different ranking tiers.
What happens to my XP and Shards if I sell my Kabu NFT?
Your XP is determined by the Pins and Badges associated with your profile. If your NFT holdings change, certain Badges may be removed, which can affect your total XP and Rank. Previously collected Shards are not affected by changes to your NFT holdings.
Do different Kabu NFTs earn different amounts of XP and Shards?
Yes. Different NFT traits and trait combinations can influence the amount of XP and Shards you earn. Certain traits or combinations may provide additional rewards within the Kabu ecosystem.
What are the benefits of holding a Kabu NFT?
Holding an eligible Kabu NFT allows you to earn additional XP and Shards within the Kabu ecosystem. Your NFT ownership is verified through your connected Ethereum wallets.
How often can I claim Shards?
Shards can be claimed once per day from eligible locations throughout Sunset City. Available claims reset daily.
Do I need a wallet to take part?
You can explore Sunset City without owning a Kabu NFT. Connecting an Ethereum-compatible wallet allows you to access additional features, verify NFT ownership, and participate in eligible rewards and community activities. Kabu operates on the Ethereum blockchain.
Can I link multiple wallets?
Yes. You can link multiple Ethereum wallets to your Kabu profile, allowing you to connect your NFT collections and participate in eligible activities across your linked wallets.
Do I need to own a Kabu NFT to explore Sunset City?
No. Sunset City is open to everyone, including members of other NFT communities. You can explore the world, participate in available activities, and collect eligible Community Pins without owning a Kabu NFT.
Where can I view my XP, Shards, and achievements?
Your XP, Shards, Rank, Pins, and Badges can be viewed through your Kabu profile, allowing you to track your progression and collection.
Where can I buy a Kabu NFT?
Kabu NFTs are available on OpenSea through the official Kabu collection.
Will more features be added to Sunset City?
Kabu is designed as an evolving digital world, with additional locations, activities, collectibles, community collaborations, and experiences planned as the ecosystem develops.
